From our family to yours
Located in beautiful Santa Rosa Valley, Santa Rosa Valley Farms started it’s adventure in 2016. Since having a small ranchette year’s prior, it was the one thing we wanted to get back to. This time, it was taking a blank canvas of land and thoughtfully planning it out. We knew we had our work cut out for us, but it was worth the sacrifice. From pulling weeds to harvesting, it is all about good hard work.
We at Santa Rosa Valley Family Farms pride ourselves on the quality of our avocados. At an average of 273 sunny days a year, growing avocados in Santa Rosa Valley is perfection. And, with the certification of CCOF, it is a gold seal to our product. We are proud of our small ranch!

Matt has been farming his entire life. He worked in his family’s business, Gillio Farms Garlic Braids at a young age. He attended college at Calpoly San Luis Obispo where he specialized in crop science. Along with growing avocados he is a grower for a company in southern California.
Wendy has always had a love of avocados and thought this would be a fun adventure. Her love of design helped build the family’s barn into a beautiful gathering place for production and hanging out with the family.
Morgan who is 17, is an artist. She loves to create work featuring the farm.
Ben who is 14 loves helping out. He hopes to be a farmer too, someday.
And, our three dogs Piper, Lulu and Oliver love hanging out at the farm. Oliver loves jumping in the piles of leaves!
